Acwulf Gild is the mayor of Greenidge.
Background
Acwulf is a well-known sorcerer and is generally seen as a good mayor. He keeps the best interest of the people at heart and does everything he can to protect Greenidge itself. As a result, he can sometimes be overprotective, and since Greenidge mostly on sees foot traffic, anyone who stays too long in the thorp is likely to come under close scrutiny.

Sleeping Giants
Jordan Steingard met with Acwulf upon arriving in Greenidge, and coordinated the exchange of prisoners that he was sent to retrieve. Acwulf also took the time to ask Jordan if he was here to investigate the disappearing livestock. Jordan was not previously intending to, but decided to possibly consider it in the future.[1]
After finding and defeating a chimera outside of Greenidge, Jordan and Lyla Hellebore returned to Acwulf to inform him what was eating his livestock. Acwulf was cautiously surprised, and did not offer any kind of reward as the couple did not bring any proof of a chimera. Jordan pointed out that reward was not needed anyway, and that a retinue of Skyhammer troops should be showing up sooner rather than later to investigate further.[2]
While attempting to teleport from Stir Peak to Aaron Donaldsson’s residence in Skyhammer, there was a mishap in Lyla’s casting of the spell. They end up in a very similar building in Greenidge, which happened to be Acwulf’s private residence. Though Acwulf was not present, the party did mess with a few things in the house before leaving.[3] It was later revealed that Acwulf replaced all of the locks for his residence, but to date has not re-alphabetized his library.[4]
