The Battle of the Trifecta was a battle that took place at the Trifecta in Aurora on March 11, 513 AO, an event which historians generally agree marks the beginning of the Upheaval Wars. The battle was intended to be a decapitation strike by Vesper on Aurora, but due to unexpected consequences from the Unsealing, the battle resulted in the deaths of many parties involved, including King Simon Rex IV of the Kingdom of Vesper, as well as Sultan Enil Nile of Sulta Ixen.


During the battle, the event known as the Tragedy of Hastile occurred, in which the city of Hastile was completely destroyed by spellcrafted meteoric bombardment, resulting in significant loss of life and destabilization of the Auroran Republic.
