The island spans elevations from sea level to 16,119' at the peak of Mount Tikiwaka, and as such has a wide variety of biomes. The lowlands are tropical, and the upper lands consist of alpine climates. The island is volcanically active, and new land is constantly forming in the far east of the island.

The Ori people maintain several large settlements in the center of the island, and are known to trade and sell labor to citizens of Highcrest.
The Gruulani can be found in the far east, close to the volcanically active section of the island.
Several ancient ruins have been reported around the island, with many apparently containing several pieces of ancient, unknown technology.
