Barb was an administrator in the Vesperian Military before Sulta Ixen assumed control of the continent. She was last seen filling a wagon with as much armor and weapons as she could before fleeing to the countryside.
Early Life
Barb was born and raised outside of Riverlake, Vesper. She was a long-time member of the Vesperian Military.
Recent Events
Sleeping Giants
Jordan Steingard encountered Barb while looking for one of the Steel Soldiers to "train" with. She offered for him to sign up to join the military, which he quickly turned down. Not long after, Tom entered and escorted Jordan out. After the scuffle between Jordan and Tom, which resulted in Tom's armor being torn from his body, Barb was tasked with ensuring that the Steel Soldier armor could not so easily be removed in the future.[1]
While carousing, Nil and Barb drank and exchanged stories for several hours. During that time, Nil learned a few secrets that Barb probably should not have spilled. Of particular interest was that the jail cells under Fort Eaveton were warded against magic, but the rest of the fort was susceptible.[2]
After Sulta Ixen crushed Vesper and killed King Simon, the city of Riverlake was in chaos. As riots began to break out, Barb filled an entire wagon with as much armor and weapons as she could and fld the city. She hasn't been seen since.[3]
