Harry Hellebore was Lyla Hellebore's father, and a known agent for the Vesperian Army during the events of Sleeping Giants.

Early Life

Harry grew up in the Sylvan Sod, and then spent several years in Kittiwake's Edge during which time he and Leila Hellebore had Lyla. He disappeared several years later, abandoning the family in order to further his career. He hoped to one day become a Professor at once of the Arcane Universities in the Trifecta, but by the time he died he was only an associate professor. He spent his summers teaching children at a summer camp near the Trifecta.

Sleeping Giants

During Lyla's scrying with Uljas Jokela, she saw Harry teaching children how magic worked.[1]

While investigating a known Conjuration Bridge, Lyla and Jordan Steingard discovered Harry summoning a mid-ranking devil through a large portal. A combat ensued that resulted in the devil getting away to wreak further havoc upon the world, and Jordan and Harry careening through the air to their potential deaths.[2] Later, Jordan and Lyle recovered Harry's body. After some confusion, they discover that he actually is dead, despite being under the effects of a Feign Death spell. They decided to take his corpse with them on the several-day journey back to Oakhurst, in the hopes that the priest there could use divine magic to speak to Harry.[3]

The group made a detour to Skyhammer and decided to speak with Harry's corpse there instead of Oakhurst. High Priest Jostan agreed to perform the ritual himself, and Jordan excused himself so Lyla may ask the questions herself. The following info was gleaned:

Harry's body was then taken by Jordan to be cremated.[4]
