Mitor Jans is captain of a ship named Dog Ear, and a Friend of Candlekeep. He began as an Avowed-in-training but soon realized he had a knack for sailing, so he abandoned learning and became a sailor.

Dormian Mysteries
At the start of the campaign, Stefon found Mitor in The Hearth, sharing a drink with Falthrax Loderr and another Avowed. Mitor and Stefon greeted each other amicably, and Mitor informed him that he has a cask of wine set aside for him from his latest journey.[1]
