Kurt is an eccentric man from Kittiwake's Edge, mostly known for his string of occupations and the exasperation he produces in tavern-owner, Mugdul Lackman. He can be a sweet, seemingly innocent guy and most of his motices mean well, but also incredibly irrational and sometimes has an uncontrolled, larger-than-life physicality in the presence of other people.

Sleeping Giants
Kurt took in Jordan Steingard and Lyla Hellebore's horses when they arrived in Kittiwake's Edge, and informed Lyla that her mother had been looking for her.[1]
Kurt was present at Lyla's statue unveiling. He stood by stoically, and gave her perhaps the highest praise he's ever given anyone in his life: "Good job, Lyla."[2]
