Michelle Fairway is a Bishop of Skyhammer, who currently serves as the liaison between Skyhammer and Sulta Ixen at Fort Nile.
Early Life
Born and raised within the confines of Skyhammer, Michelle was groomed from birth to be a part of the phalanx, much like many of her peers. She was always an extremely focused individual, excelling primarily in 1-on-1 combat.
Recent Events
Sleeping Giants
When Jordan Steingard was promoted to Deacon, Michelle was appointed to him as an underling. He immediately send Michelle to the Sunless Citadel (now Fort Nile) with several orders:
- Investigate the Underdark entrances in preparation for establishing a Forward Operating Base.
- Attempt to consecrate the area where the Gulthias Tree once was and study the Blue Ore around it.
- Bring back a chip of the Blue Ore to Skyhammer.
Shortly after being sent on this mission, Michelle was training in Skyhammer when Athanatos stumbled upon her and asked to spar. Michelle put up a fight, but in the end Athanatos bested her, and cut off a large chunk of her hair.[1]
Upon Elaina Nile's arrival back at the Sunless Citadel, she found Michelle stationed there. The two exchanged words, Michelle bent on remaining at her station and Elaina convinced that she would not stick around much longer. Eventually, Michelle agreed to leave once the Underdark entrances had been sealed up. She also shared a map with Elaina, one that her and Alfonse Beck made of the Underdark area immediately outside of the entrances.[2]
Using a super secret passphrase given to her by Jordan, Elaina convinced Michelle to travel from Oakhurst to Greenidge to meet up with the other Skyhammer acolytes. Michelle accepted and left immediately.[3]
Afterward, Michelle returned to her station at Fort Nile, where she began serving as the liaison between Skyhammer and Sulta Ixen. To this day, she makes regular patrols to the svirfneblin village to keep tabs on them, as well.[4]
