Mishalimshalessa Terrenboxster, or Misha, is the wife of Risen member, Stratton Traushaft Pipsquanchy, and widely regarded as the most powerful Abjuration Wizard in the known world. She is a member of The Mages, and played a pivotal role in the events of Sleeping Giants.
Early Life
Though Misha's backstory is unknown, before the events of Sleeping Giants, she encountered Stratton while he was touring the Sterile Sands. She left him with a piece of her blue silk scarf to remember her by, which ended up saving Bigby from imprisonment.
Recent Events
Sleeping Giants
Stratton and Misha crossed path once more, when Stratton used the teleportation circle located underneath Skyhammer and was transported to a strange, silvery land. It was a brief crossing, however, and only lasted long enough for the two of them to recognize each other.[1]
While spending his last few days in the Trifecta, Stratton encountered Misha once more. The two had a delightful evening together, during which time she informed him that the man Stratton saw her with previously was in fact a coworker and nothing more. Misha had business in Greenidge the following day, and offered to provide a "shortcut" to Stratton and his companion, Ford Bertrom, since they were heading in that direction as well. They agreed, and learned that the "shortcut" was actually the space boat that Stratton saw Misha in once before. They arrived outside of Oakhurst in a matter of minutes rather than days. Misha bid the two of them farewell and went on her way.[2]
Ford followed after Misha and found her performing some kind of arcane work in a small field east of Greenidge. He asked if she would be able to transport the party via space boat to Vesper to aid in a time-sensitive mission. She reluctantly refused, but offered to teleport them to a teleportation circle close to their destination. She stated that she can get them very close but would need a good reason to do so, which prompted Ford to drop some more details. He mentioned that Stratton discovered his father was still alive and in prison somewhere, which Misha immediately realized was Bigby, whom she evidently knew.
With this information, Misha offered to give the group the passcode to her personal lab's teleportation circle, with the understand that they will tell no one about it. The group agreed, and Misha gave them the passcode as well as detailed instructions on how to get out of the lab in one piece. She then ported them to Skyhammer after a loving farewell from Stratton.[3]
After Stratton was killed by the Third Wish, he was resurrected inside Misha's quarters at her lab. She left a primed Teleportation Circle for Stratton to use in order to meet her and Bigby in Oakhurst. Upon using the portal, Misha met Stratton face-to-face in the Lil' Boar Inn. The two greeted each other briefly, and then joined Bigby and made their way to the Cirque deLirium show that was happening just outside of Oakhurst. There, Misha joined Stratton and Bigby in embarrassing Benedicht the Half Elf and retaking control of the Cirque once and for all.[4]
