Lyle Tealeaf is the leader of the Nightweb, the largest thieves' guild in the known world. There are rumors circulating that Lyle is currently crucified, but they have neither been confirmed nor denied.

Lyle met Ford Bertrom at the beginning of the "Hands-On Approach" mission, and offered to pay him the same amount as Skyhammer for whatever information he uncovered.[1]
After the conclusion of the mission, Lyle and Ford met once more. Ford gave a complete rundown of the recent mission. Lyle absorbed all of the information, but expressed deep concern when Ford informed him that a phylactery of sorts was discovered, and was handed over to Skyhammer officials. Lyle mentioned that he'd have to "take care of it". He then gave Ford the promised payment, and formally invited him to join the Nightweb. Ford accepted.[2]
Lyle met with Athanatos to ask for her to perform an assassination for him. The target was Viggo Eshton. The payment was a couple of poisons of her choice, free of charge.[3]
After the alarm went off at Fort Eaveton, the jailor believed it to be a faulty security system and mentioned that they should have Lyle come in and take a look at it.[4]
Ford was escorted by Shann to the Nightweb headquarters, which was located across the channel from Kittiwake's Edge, on Avi Island. There, Lyle invited Ford and Shann to co-run the second Nightweb headquarters, which they agreed to. It was started in Mint City, by Ford's recommendation.[5]
